OK. oskar: music | Freeride Millenium, MONSTER & ROVA

The Criss-Cross music programme by artist Zosia Holubowska consists of live acts and music sets that combine experimental and electronic club music. Invited musicians and DJs celebrate trans-local communities and connections. Each event follows a no-headlining rule, so different scenes and initiatives from Eastern and Central Europe meet equally over the summer. Feminine with queer with non-binary with trans sounds and moves connect in Salzburg.
Freeride Millenium is a DJ duo. Jorkes art is rooted in gender, queer and egalitarian attitudes and can often be provocative, whether musically or performatively. This plays out with the always fascinating Freeride Millenium label which they co-run with their muse, lover, and partner Daniel Rajcsanyi aka ParisBöhm. Daniel Rajcsanyi fuses sculpture, fashion, intimacy, and the body to create performances, photographs, and music. Together, they have become central players in Europe's LBGTQIA+ scene thanks to the way they freely express themselves, their emotions, and their experiences through their work.

Monster

With more than a decade of experience under her belt, Monster is rightly one of the best DJs in Europe. With her penchant for euphoric and fun music, Monster spins old school trance, techno, house, acid, breaks and everything in between, usually supporting producers from her local Polish scene. An inner goddess of mischief, she is also the brains behind the parody account Bathroom DJ Greatest Hits on Instagram. Her career began in the late 00s at Rozbrat, an anarchist squat and social centre in Poznań, Poland. There she started hosting "Squat The Electricity" nights and working closely with the local scene to promote electronic music among activists and activism among electronic music fans. Today she is a member of Oramics, a Polish platform supporting women, non-binary and queer people in electronic music. Her actions gained worldwide attention thanks to the Total Solidarity compilation.

Rova lives in Salzburg and is an active member and resident DJ of the vierundvierzig collective. Energetic tunes and a thoughtful, soulful selection characterise her DJ sets. She drew most of her inspiration from her work at the record shop Minerva Records.

The association Klubkulturklub vierundvierzig (formerly known as Freakadelle) has been promoting the local electronic music scene and its players since 2011. In addition to its own music label, the association offers regular events, a studio, a radio programme and workshops.
